Lahore: The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and newly elected member of the assembly, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, has stated that Barrister Gohar was removed from the chairmanship of PTI due to his incompetence and poor performance.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Sher Afzal Marwat said that Barrister Gohar is an honourable individual, but his performance was not satisfactory.
Sher Afzal Marwat further stated that the reason behind removing Barrister Gohar Ali Khan from the chairmanship of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is his incompetence and poor performance. He emphasized that running the party office requires constant activity, but this was not observed.
The PTI leader mentioned that Barrister Gohar was given three months’ time, but he could not succeed. There were other expectations, including workers’ protests, in which Barrister Gohar failed to meet expectations.
He further added that the leadership approach of Barrister Gohar was not meritorious after the election results. Barrister Gohar should have led from the front, but he remained unsuccessful.
It’s worth mentioning that a few days before the elections, Barrister Gohar was nominated for the chairmanship by the PTI. However, yesterday, the schedule for intra-party elections was announced by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, revealing Barrister Ali Zafar as the candidate for chairmanship.
