Caretaker Government Raises Petrol Price by Rs. 2.73/Litre

Islamabad: The caretaker government has increased the prices of petroleum products. The price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 2.73 per liter. After the increase, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs. 275.62 per liter.

According to media reports, a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance stated that the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs. 8.37 per liter. After the increase, the new price of high-speed diesel is Rs. 287.33 per liter.

It should be noted that the new prices came into effect at midnight, February 16.
