New York: American multinational research company Gallup recently conducted a survey aimed at determining who is happier between married individuals and singles (those not involved in any relationship).
According to the Gallup survey, married individuals tend to be noticeably happier compared to those in any other type of relationship.
According to American media reports, Jonathan Rothwell, the author of the Gallup survey, stated that although being married seems more advantageous to us outwardly, it is also important to consider how people are living their lives.
More than 2.5 million American individuals were asked to rate their lives on a scale of zero to ten between 2009 and 2023.
According to statistics, married individuals expressed more happiness and satisfaction compared to single respondents during the survey period. Professor of Sociology at the University of Virginia and Director of the National Marriage Project, Bradford Wilcox, stated that while age, gender, and education are important factors, when it comes to leading a good and pleasant life, marriage holds the most significance.
