Dollar Declines in Interbank Market, Stock Exchange Witnesses Surge

Karachi: The Pakistani rupee strengthened against the US dollar in the interbank market, continuing the trend of decline in the dollar’s value.

On the third day of the trading week, the dollar depreciated by 17 paisas in the interbank, resulting in its value dropping to Rs. 279.25.

Simultaneously, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) experienced a bullish trend, commencing the trading session with a significant uptick. The KSE-100 index recorded a substantial increase of 277 points, reaching a level of 64,078 points.

The positive momentum observed in both the currency market and the stock exchange signals renewed investor confidence and reflects favorable economic conditions in the country.
