Babar Azam Gets Angry During Match, Video Goes Viral

Dhaka: Former captain of the Pakistan national team, Babar Azam, who is representing Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), can be seen getting angry in a recent video that has gone viral on social media.

Babar Azam, known for his calm demeanor along with his batting prowess and friendly demeanor, got into a heated argument with Dhaka’s wicketkeeper Irfan Sukkur, leading the former captain to express his anger.

The star batsman of the national team played a crucial role in his team’s total of 183 runs against Durdanto Dhaka, scoring 62 runs off 46 balls with the help of 5 fours and a six.

However, during the 13th over of the innings, Babar Azam got angry when a heated argument took place with Dhaka’s wicketkeeper Irfan Sukkur.

In the viral video, Babar Azam can be heard saying, “I’m not talking to you, I’m not talking to you,” during the argument. Umpire and Durdanto Dhaka’s captain, Mosaddek Hossain, attempted to cool down Babar, but even then, Babar seemed displeased.

The former captain’s statement to the opposing player is currently trending on the social media platform ‘X,’ where supporters of Babar are tweeting in his support.

It should be noted that this was Babar Azam’s third match in the Bangladesh Premier League, and this innings marked his second half-century in the tournament.
