Australian Islamic College Grand Opening of Henley Brook & Forrestdale Campuses

Henley Brook, Forrestdale, Western Australia: Australian Islamic College (Perth) Inc, a leading institution committed to providing quality education with a focus on academic excellence, moral values, and religious teachings, is proud to announce the official opening of its two new school campuses, Australian Islamic College Forrestdale and Australian Islamic College Henley Brook.

The grand opening ceremony of the two campuses is scheduled for Monday 22 January 2024 (Henley Brook) and Tuesday 23 January (Forrestdale) respectively at 9:30 am, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of AIC’s educational footprint in Western Australia. The state-of-the-art campuses, strategically located in Henley Brook and Forrestdale, are set to accommodate over 400 students each from Kindergarten to Year 8, commencing classes on 24 January 2024.

The Henley Brook and Forrestdale schools, constructed in phase 1 with a substantial investment of $50 million (including land purchase) each, boast modern facilities including 2 Kindergarten classrooms, 4 Pre-Primary classrooms, and 24 Primary classrooms. The school also features an expansive oval and sports courts, providing students with a holistic educational experience.

The decision to establish the two new campuses comes in response to the increasing demand for quality education within the Australian Islamic College network. With three existing colleges in Perth and one in Adelaide, AIC has consistently been among the top-performing schools in WA, as evidenced by Naplan and Year 12 results over the past four years.

“We are delighted to open the doors of Australian Islamic College Henley Brook and Forrestdale to the community. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education to a growing number of students seeking a balanced and enriching academic experience,” said Abdullah Khan OAM FACEL, Executive Principal & CEO of Australian Islamic College (Perth) Inc.

Despite diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, the college’s commitment to academic excellence is evident, with consistently high-performance results and a focus on explicit teaching as a pedagogical approach.

The College’s affordable fees, averaging around $2,000 per student per year, make it an attractive option for families seeking quality education without the financial burden associated with other private schools. The coeducational environment ensures a well-rounded educational experience, fostering collaboration and understanding between genders.

As Australia’s population continues to diversify due to migration, interstate movement, overseas students, and temporary residents, the need for institutions like Australian Islamic College has never been more pronounced.
