Karachi: Another incident of oil theft from a government pipeline has been reported in the Bin Qasim area of Karachi, as informed by the Pakistan-Arab Refinery Company (PARCO) to the Bin Qasim police station.
After a complaint from an employee of PARCO, a case has been registered against three individuals in the Bin Qasim police station for allegedly stealing oil from PARCO’s petroleum line.
The accused individuals, identified as Abdul Wahab, Javed, and Hasan Jatoi, were nominated in the FIR filed by PARCO for stealing oil from their pipeline, as stated in the FIR.
According to the FIR, the accused Javed and Hasan rented a warehouse and clandestinely clipped the PARCO pipeline for diesel theft.
Police officials stated that no arrests have been made yet in connection with the incident.
Authorities reminded that similar cases of oil theft from government lines were registered last year, but the culprits involved in oil theft were not apprehended.
Investigations into oil theft from PARCO’s pipeline were ongoing when another incident of oil theft emerged in the vicinity of Steel Town.
Upon a complaint by PARCO’s Assistant Security Officer Rafiq, a case attempting oil theft was registered against unknown suspects in the Steel Town police station.
