Lahore: All teams of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have announced the names of their retained players, each team retaining 8 players following the trading period.
According to the details, Islamabad United has decided to retain Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah in the Platinum category, Azam Khan and Imad Wasim (who moved to Islamabad United from Karachi Kings) in the Diamond category, and Fahim Ashraf in the Gold category. Alex Hales, Colin Munro, and Rumman Raees have been retained in the Silver category.
Karachi Kings, for PSL Season 9, has not retained any player in the Platinum category. In the Diamond category, James Vince, Hasan Ali, in Gold, Shan Masood, Shoaib Malik, Tabraiz Shamsi, and in Silver, Mir Hamza, and Muhammad Akhlaq have been retained. The emerging category includes Mohammad Irfan Khan.
Multan Sultans have retained players including Muhammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed in the Platinum category, in Diamond Khushdil Shah, Usama Mir, in Gold, Abbas Afridi, Ehsan Ali in Silver, and Faisal Akram in the Emerging category.
Lahore Qalandars has decided to retain Shaheen Shah Afridi in the Platinum category. In Diamond category Haris Rauf and David Wiese, in Gold, Sikandar Raza, Abdullah Shafique, Zaman Khan. In Silver, Mirza Tahir Baig and Rashid Khan are included.
Peshawar Zalmi has retained Babar Azam and Rovman Powell in Platinum, Saim Ayub, Tom Kohler-Cadmore in Diamond, in Gold, Mohammad Haris, Aamer Jamal, in Silver, Khurram Shahzad and in the Emerging category Haseebullah Khan has been included.
Quetta Gladiators have retained Rilee Rossouw in Platinum, Mohammad Waseem Jr. in Diamond, Jason Roy, Harsanga, in Gold, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Hasnain, Abrar Ahmed, and Will Smeed in the Silver category.
