Possibility of Reduction in Petroleum Prices

Islamabad: Following a decrease in crude oil prices in the global market, there is a possibility of a reduction in petroleum prices in Pakistan.

Sources suggest that there could be a reduction in diesel prices by up to 8 rupees per liter from November 15, while an expected reduction of up to 2 rupees per liter in petrol prices.

Reports indicate a potential reduction of around 4.5 rupees per liter in the price of kerosene oil, while there might be a decrease of up to 16.50 rupees per liter in the price of light diesel.

A summary regarding the revised prices is to be presented to the Ministry of Petroleum on November 15, and after consultation with the Prime Minister’s finance minister, the final approval for the revised prices will be given.
