Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the specified prize amounts for the World Cup. The total prize pool for the World Cup has been set at 10 million dollars, with Pakistan receiving 260,000 dollars from the total amount allocated for the World Cup.
According to reports, Pakistan will receive more than 73 million rupees for their four victories in the matches and the group stage. Out of the nine matches, Pakistan succeeded in only four. Winning four matches will earn Pakistan 160,000 dollars, while the team will receive 100,000 dollars for progressing through the group stage. The ICC has set a reward of 40,000 dollars for every match won.
The semi-finalist teams will receive 800,000 dollars each. The runner-up of the ICC World Cup will earn 2 million dollars, while the winning team will be awarded 4 million dollars.
