Islamabad: The Meteorological Department has stated that during the winter season, there may be normal or above-normal rainfall, and temperatures across the country could remain higher than usual.
According to the Meteorological Department, above-normal rainfall is expected in the western and northwestern regions of the country. Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may experience above-normal rainfall as well.
The report suggests that upper Punjab and Kashmir could witness considerably more rainfall than usual. In southwestern Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, temperatures may remain higher than usual.
The Meteorological Department has also indicated that there is a possibility of above-normal temperatures in Gilgit-Baltistan and increased rainfall in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the coming month. Additionally, there is a chance of snowfall in the high mountainous areas.
