Pink Eye Outbreak in Punjab: Number of Patients Reaches 395,929

Lahore: During the current year the pink eye outbreak in 36 districts of Punjab has resulted in a total of 395,929 reported patients, with 1,134 new cases added recently.

According to the Punjab Primary Health Department, Lahore reported 23,633 pink eye cases this year. In the past 24 hours, Lahore recorded 236 new pink eye patients.

A spokesperson stated that the highest number of cases in the pink eye outbreak, 77,672 in total, were reported in Bahawalpur this year. Bahawalpur had 34 new cases reported yesterday.

In Rawalpindi, there were a total of 9,182 pink eye patients reported this year, with 63 new cases reported yesterday.
