PPP and MQM have Destroyed the City of Karachi, says Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman

Karachi: Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman, the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, extended condolences and prayers to the family of 22-year-old Areeb, who lost his life due to the explosion within a drain in Lasbela Chowk. During this visit, he met with Areeb’s father, Muhammad Khalid, and other family members. Amir Jamaat-e-Islami District Keamari, Fazl Ahad Haneef, Deputy Amir Keamari, Dr. Anwar ul Haq, District Secretary Ali Nawaz Abbasi, Deputy Secretary Inam ul Rahman, and Area Administrator Kamran were also present on this occasion.

While addressing the attendees, Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman strongly condemned the government and the administrative authorities for their gross negligence and indifference in the incident. He stated that they stand united with Areeb’s father, Muhammad Khalid, in his grief and are ready to provide any possible assistance to seek justice. Several days have passed since the incident took place, but neither the government nor the administrative authorities have made any contact with Areeb’s family.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman further stated that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has imposed a feudal and dynastic system everywhere, where even basic facilities were not provided to the public during their continuous 15-year rule and the situation in the city has deteriorated to the point where in every few days, a child or a young person in Karachi becomes a victim of the criminal negligence of the oppressive rulers. PPP, in collaboration with MQM, has seized control of Karachi’s institutions and transformed the country’s largest city into a hotbed of corruption instead of resolving the people’s issues, he added.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman said that when the usurper mayor is questioned about his incompetence and the problems and issues being faced by the citizens, he claims that he is being prevented from working. If the issue of missing manhole covers is raised, he asserts that drug addicts are taking them away. He wants to shift the responsibility for his own incompetence onto others. Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman said that this behavior cannot be tolerated any further.
