Ishaq Dar is to be Blamed for Expensive Electricity, says PPP

Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has placed the blame for expensive electricity on the Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). In this regard, the senior leader of the People’s Party, Chaudhry Manzoor, has stated that delays and stringent conditions in agreements with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have contributed to the high cost of electricity, and the PPP has never referred to Ishaq Dar as an economic scientist.

While speaking to the private TV channel Samaa News, Chaudhry Manzoor, a central leader of the People’s Party, said that Ishaq Dar is responsible for expensive electricity. He mentioned that the delay in agreements with the IMF has led to this crisis. The Muslim League-Nawaz wants to delay the elections for Nawaz Sharif’s return.
