Unprovoked Firing by Indian Army on LoC Results in Senior Citizen Martyred, Women Injured

Rawalpindi: As a consequence of indiscriminate firing by the Indian Army on the Line of Control (LoC), a senior citizen has been martyred, and women have sustained injuries.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian Army engaged in unprovoked firing on the Line of Control. Amid escalating Indian aggression, a senior civilian lost his life.

On Monday, the Indian Army carried out unprovoked firing in the Nakyal sector. Innocent civilians were targeted by the Indian Army, during which a 60-year-old civilian, Ghias, was martyred in the Kotli district’s village of Oli while he was busy cutting grass. Additionally, three women were injured during this incident.

According to ISPR, this breach of ceasefire by Indian belligerence is a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement. Pakistan desires peace and tranquility on its borders, but all necessary measures will be taken to safeguard the lives and property of its citizens.

Pakistan Army spokesperson further stated that in case of any misadventure by India against the people of Pakistan, an appropriate response will be given at the time and place of our choosing.
