Jaranwala: Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Siraj-ul-Haq, has demanded strict and public punishments for individuals involved in the Jaranwala incident, accusing them of conspiring to create chaos, and turmoil, and inciting people against each other in the country.
After visiting the affected Christian area, Siraj-ul-Haq spoke to the local media. While condemning the incidents of burning worship places and houses, he announced that under the Jamaat-e-Islami Al-Khidmat Foundation, they would undertake the reconstruction of affected homes and install water filtration plants in the area.
A really sincere and supportive gesture by JI Chief Maulana Sirajul Haq 🙌

He also pledged to provide free education up to the intermediate level for Christian children and to provide interest-free loans to affected young adults. He stated that for the girls whose dowry was looted during the riots, Jamaat-e-Islami would immediately arrange double the dowry, and they would also cooperate in the reconstruction of the affected Christian homes.
The Jamaat leader stressed that those involved in desecrating the Holy Quran should be brought to justice, and the government should take action instead of issuing statements. He expressed concern that incidents of Quran desecration had led to public outrage and had been exploited by malicious elements who had taken the law into their own hands. Society is experiencing increasing intolerance, which needs to be addressed urgently.
