There is a chance of severe gas shortage in Karachi from August 16 to 23.
According to Sui Southern Gas Company, due to gas field maintenance, the city’s gas supply will be affected from August 12 to 15.
Around 50 MMCFD (Million Cubic Feet per Day) of gas shortage is expected due to gas field maintenance. Maintenance of the Kunnar Pasakhi gas field will take place from August 12 to 27 in the city. A significant reduction of 107 MMCFD in gas supply is anticipated from August 16 to 23. Gas supply in the city will also be affected from August 23 to 27. Sui Southern Gas Company has stated that areas at the end of the gas distribution system might face gas shortage.
