Colombo: Pakistani cricketer Saud Shakeel, who is currently playing in the Test series against Sri Lanka, has set a new record in Test cricket.
According to news agencies, middle-order batsman Saud Shakeel scored 57 runs in the first innings of the second Test match against Sri Lanka.

By achieving this milestone, Saud Shakeel became the first player in Test cricket’s 146-year history to score 50 or more runs in each of his first seven Test matches. No other player had this honor before.

Saud Shakeel has scored 871 runs at an average of 96.78, including 6 fifties and 2 centuries.
It is worth mentioning that in the first Test match, Saud Shakeel played an incredible innings of 208 runs, and in the second innings, he scored 30 runs.
