Dir: An Indian girl named Anju has married a Pakistani boy, Nasrullah. The wedding took place at the District Court in Dir, where the girl embraced Islam and was given the Islamic name Fatima.
According to the details, 35-year-old Anju, the Indian woman, stated that she had befriended Nasrullah on Facebook. She came to Pakistan of her own accord, and she requested the Indian media not to trouble her parents.
As per the police, Anju arrived in Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on a valid tourist visa from India. She expressed her admiration for the people of the area and mentioned that after touring around, she plans to return to her country.
District Police Officer of Dir, Mushtaq Ahmed, stated that the Indian girl possesses all the necessary travel documents, and security arrangements are being made accordingly.
