KARACHI Hashmanis Group of Hospitals will be official Health Partner of ‘The Karachi Eat 2019 Festival, which will be opened today at Beach Park Karachi.
To provide a common platform for food lovers, one of the biggest festivals, The Karachi Eat 2019 Food Festival, is going to open today at Beach Park Clifton.
For the third year running Hashmanis Hospital will participate in the festival as its official Health Partner. Providing necessary ambulatory, emergency and first aid services Hashmanis Hospital staff will be ever present to assist both the vendors and the foodies alike.
Along with the necessary first aid services, the medical and allied staff of Hashmanis Group of Hospitals will provide a number of free services to check the overall health of the foodies. Such services include but are not limited to: checking the Bone Mineral Density (BMD), checking the sugar, cholesterol, uric acid levels in diabetic patients, overall general health checkups by qualified doctors. In addition, the world-renowned eye care services will also be provided free of cost to the foodies so that the foodies can get an assessment of their eye health while enjoying their favourite food! What a unique concept this health care group has brought to Pakistan: health assessment mixed with fun activities.
“In the past years we have observed a fair number of injuries with the security and food handling staff; in addition diabetic and heart patients are prone to health incidences. Our vigilant staff will be ever present to address these issues so that all of Karachi can enjoy a healthy festival. Karachi Eat will run for three days Friday, Saturday & Sunday (January 11-13, 2019). Entry will be allowed to families only. On the first day it will remain open from 4:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Second and third-day timings will be from 12:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
