Eid al-FItr 2016 in Australia on July 6

SYDNEY:  After fasting for 30 days, Muslims of Australia are going to celebrate Eid al-Fitr tomorrow, July 6, 2016.

The Eid al-Fitr prayer will be performed in Lakemba Mosque, located in Sydney’s south-west , where the capacity of 30,000 people to pray.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has sent his best wishes to Muslims across Australia as they come together for Eid.

The Muslims of Australia were lucky to have 10 hours of fast rather than UK’s challenging  19 hours and 30 minutes.

The positivity of Australian culture is that cohesion is the important point and Eid al-Fitr is a festival when people get together feel stronger and unified in peace and love rather than hate and anger.
