PESHAWAR: A 5 magnitude earthquake has been reported in various parts of Malakand division and Chitral on Sunday dawn, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
The epicenter of the quake was the boarder of Tajikistan and Afghanistan, while its depth was 85 kilometers.
The earthquake reportedly caused widespread panic across the region with people saying that it caused major alarm.
Residents in these cities in the country’s north said that they could feel the buildings that they were in sway.
National Disaster Management Authority has issued a warning after the jolts, saying aftershocks could also hit the country after these tremors.
