WAHSINGTON: President Barack Obama speaking at the Global Nuclear Summit stated that Nuclear attack risk can be fatal and it can destroy our world.
He said that immediate and serious actions must be taken to prevent a nuclear bombardment in any country. He was speaking to a conglomeration of fifty world leaders from across the globe.
Members of the nuclear security program also opposed North Korean nuclear program. British Prime Minister David Cameron, French President Francois Hollande, US President Barack Obama and China’s President Xi Jinping were present at the Nuclear Security Summit.
While Russian opposed to participate in the summit and PM Nawaz Sharif couldn’t participate in the summit in the Lahore attack aftermath.
Obama also stated that, “Russia is strengthening its arsenal based through nuclear weapons.” In order to nuclear attacks, Obama insisted leaders to reduce their arsenals and make secure nuclear weapons.
Leaders from the summit also insisted to take important steps to provide safe zone and reduce nuclear weapons.
