ISLAMABAD: Iranian President in his press conference here in Islamabad stated that he did not discuss the Research and Analysis Wing’s (RAW) agent arrested in Pakistan with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.
He further stated that Paksitan and Iran are both our allies and good friends however whenever we get close to Pakistan rumors surface from no where and they hold no ground.
We believe in positive relations between Paksitan and Iran therefore we did not discuss any such rumors during our meeting.
He said Iran has completed their work on Pakistan Iran gas pipeline project and we are now waiting for Pakistan. He confirmed that he discussed matters of regional security, border security and development issues with CAOS Sharif and praised Pakistan Army’s efforts to curb terrorism.
“We are furthering ourselves from our culture and we need to do something about it,” he added, “we have discussed economic developments.”
