While taking media person in India, Shahid Afridi declared Mohammad Amir much better bowler than Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
When reported talk about Rohit Sharma claim about Bumrah Afridi replied that “I do not want to comment over Sharma’s statement but for Mohammad Amir is best.”
Earlier, Indian opening batsman Rohit Sharma, who received a toe-crashing Yorker from talented Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir in Asia Cup match, has stated that Mohammad Amir is just an ‘ordinary bowler” and he should not be given much hype.
Rohit Sharma expressed dismay over the hype around the Pakistani pacer and said the focus should instead be on young all-rounder Jasprit Bumrah.
“Just leave him… He’s just come (after the ban) and I don’t think we should go gaga about him. Let him perform for one more year and we will see whether he deserves so much.”
“He’s good but he needs to prove again and again. It’s not right to hype him so much after just one match. Not just for him or who are watching it, let him do it over and over again,” Sharma said.
