Pervez Musharraf shifted to hospital

KARACHI: Former President of Pakistan and chief of All Pakistan Muslim League, Pervez Musharraf has been shifted to hospital, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to details, Musharraf was at his home sitting with family when he fainted. He has been taken to PNS Shifa Hospital amid tight security.

Reportedly, a team of doctors has been called to examine the former military dictator. Various tests will be conducted on the former president to determine the cause of his fainting.

Musharraf, 72, has had health issues before as well. In 2014, he was taken to hospital for a heart condition the day he was due to appear in court.
