Umar, Delport of Qalandars set 195 target for Gladiators

DUBAI: Courtesy to Umar Akmal bristling knock, Lahore Qalandars set 195-runs, the biggest total of Pakistan Super League so far against Quetta Gladiators.

After winning the toss, Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed chose to field first, but the decision totally went against his strategies as Qalandars openers, Azhar Ali and Delport kept their calm and played off first six risky overs without loosing any wicket.

This was enough time for Delport to stretch his arms, he began to take Gladiators bowlers when Azhar Ali left the crease with 20 in the bag.

H was then joined by Umar Akmal who came in and changed the whole face of the game. Akmal first completed his (also PSL fastest) fifty in just 22 balls and then went to capitalize on it.

Delport also departed for 65 but Umar, with 8 gigantic sixes and 6 fours in his innings scored 93 of just 40 balls.

Gladiators will now need 195 runs to win this match. It would be quite fascinating to see how Gladiators go for this mammoth chase.
