MASTUNG: The head of a banned Baloch militant group ‘Baloch Liberation Front’ was killed in an operation in Mastung district of Balochistan province on Friday night, officials said.
While Talking to media on Saturday, Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that BLF head Abdul Manan was killed during the operation last night.
At least eight insurgents were killed in the operation which continued for many hours.
He said that the operation was conducted by security forces in Mastung following an ambush from militants.
Manan had become the head of the militant group after the killing of Dr Allah Nazar last year.
