Pak vs NZ 3rd T20: Wahab Riaz ready to play crucial match

WELLINGTON: Pakistani left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz recovered from injury and all set to play third and last T20 match of the series, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Wahab Riaz hit by ball on his left forearm during practice session and he left the ground. He was doing batting practice when he hit by ball.

“Wahab suffered a bruised left forearm after being struck in the nets by a short pitched delivery,” said Robbinson. “The bruise was appropriately managed using ice and compression. Today [Wednesday], he successfully completed a full practice session involving fielding and bowling. I am confident he will be fit for selection in the final T20I against New Zealand on Friday,” he added.

After being brutally punished by New Zealand in second Twenty20 (T20) game, Pakistan will be eyeing an spectacular come back in the third and final game of the series on Friday, January 22.
