HAMILTON: Courtesy to Umar Akmal’s power hitting in death overs Pakistan gave 169 runs to win to hosts after winning the toss in 2nd T20 of 3-match series against New Zealand at Seddon Park, Hamilton on Sunday.

Then Pakistani T20 specialists Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik took charge of New Zealand bowlers and put Pakistan on driving seat as pakistan completed 100 in 13.4 overs.
Ahmed Shezad Hafeez and Sohaib Maqsood score 9, 22 and 18 runs respectively. Umar Akmal scored blisterring unbeaten 57  runs off 28 balls, Young gun hit 4 sixes and 3 boundaries in his innings while Malik scored 39 runs.
Afridi failed to repeat performance of 1st t20 and went back to hut after hitting one six only.
Mcleaneghan took two eickets from Kiwis’ side while  Santner, Eliott, Milne and Anderson took one wicket each.
