LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will make contact with International Cricket Council (ICC) over the issue of Pakistani left-spinner Yasir Shah, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
PCB officials said that Yasir Shah showed carelessness but still board will defend the Yasir Shah case to avoid ban.
Sources told that it will difficult to save Yasir Shah from ban because the medicine used by leg-spinner was strictly banned by ICC.
Earlier on Sunday, Chairman PCB Executive Committee Najam Sethi said that Board will support Pakistan’s finest leg spinner Yasir Shah over doping charges.
Najam Sethi while talking to media said that Board will help Yasir Shah to get minimum suspension from ICC. ICC suspended the Pakistani leg spinner Yasir Shah after his after his sample also tested positive for a prohibited substance.
