KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday has claimed that VIP protocol has been ended in Khyber PakhtunKhwa and now road would not be closed even if Prime Minister of Pakistan visits the province.

Imran Khan who was leaving for Karachi airport was talking to media and said that “Despite the fact that I’m facing life threats, we can’t put life of people in danger by leaving them waiting for hours at traffic signals due to our security protocols,” he said while speaking to media persons in Karachi.

PTI boss who later left for airport without any VIP protocol, claimed his party government has eliminated ‘VIP culture’ in KP, and vowed that roads would not be closed in KPK even during Prime Minister’s visit to KP.

Khan also admitted mistakes in past elections in his party, and said “we have learnt a lesson.”
