PM Nawaz inaugurates 2nd section of Faisalabad-Multan Motorway

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday has inaugurated construction work on 62km long Gojra-Shorkot section of Faisalabad-Multan Motorway M-4.

According to details, The M-4 will upgrade country’s vital north-south road network for promotion of economic growth, job creation and regional connectivity.

It will reduce cost and time from textile producing hub Faisalabad to Multan which is a major trade centre in Southern Punjab.

The fifty-eight kilometers ‘Faisalabad-Gojra’ section of M-4 has already been completed with the assistance of Asian Development Bank and opened to traffic since March this year.

It is to be kept in mind that 1st section of M-4 was opened for traffic in the March which is 58 Km in length.
