LAHORE: Most of the private schools announced holiday of November 9  on Iqbal Day, reported.

Earlier, according to details, Punjab government has stated that there would be no holiday on Iqbal Day in province of Punjab.

All the government offices, schools and secretariats will remain open on November 9.

However, federal government has so far been silent on the issue, creating a vogue situation among school owners and parents.

Many schools in Sindh and Punjab had already announced holiday after government issued holiday notification yesterday morning, the decision was quickly taken back after few hours and since then, no final notification has been issued regarding the issue.
