England vs Pakistan 3rd Test: Did Stuart Broad tamper with the ball?

SHARJAH: Pakistan media has raised questions on Stuart Broad’s alleged temper with the ball as he peeled off the piece of leather from the ball and then the ball began reverse swing, causing trouble for Pakistani batman in second innings of the match.

Broad can be seen tempering the ball while going to his start. More shocking was that neither on filed umpire, nor commentators raised a voice against his act.

As per cricket rules, this act was totally illegal.

According to cricket experts, If a bowler notices any unusual thing n the ball, he is due to take it to umpire, and only umpire can cut off the thread, or leather peel off the ball.

Few overs after this incident, one of the Broad’s reverse swing dislodged well settled Asad Shafiq’s off stump, dipping inside from more than a foot offside the off stump.

However, it would be interesting to see how International Cricket Council (ICC) reacts to the issue.
