SHARJAH: England Cricket team’s aggressive all-rounder Benn Stokes have been injured and taken out of the field during the last session of the first day of third Test match against Pakistan in Sharjah, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to detail, Stokes injured his right shoulder while diving in the air to take Sarfraz Ahmed’s catch on short square leg.
He was in severe pain as shown by his gestures and taken out of the field.
England team management will announce about his condition in post-day press conference.
English all rounder Mark Wood had already been ruled out of the match due to ankle injury.
