ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali toot Somoto action in Zain murder case on Friday.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheel Jamali ordered to present all the record of case in sealed pack.

On Tuesday, Anti-terrorism court (ATC) of Lahore acquitted all five suspects including Mustafa Kanju in the murder case of 13-year-old Zain Rauf.

The verdict was announced after all 14 witnesses including petitioner Suhail Afzal – uncle of Zain Rauf –deviated from their initial statements.

The witnesses had refused to identify Zain Kanju, who was the main accused in the case.

Mustafa Kanju, the son of former State Minister for Foreign Affairs Siddique Kanju, was accused along with his guards of shooting and killing Zain Rauf following an accident in the Cavalry Ground area of Lahore in April this year.
