LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar Khan clarified that Younis Khan’s selection in One Day Series (ODI) not confirm yet.
PCB chairman said that he does not approved the selection of middle order batsman Younis Khan in ODI series against England.
Earlier rumors were circulated in media that Shaharyar Khan has also approved Younis Khan’s inclusion in One Day Squad against England in UAE.
Approval from PCB chairman has put weight in Younis’ case, as Selection Committee is already agreed to put seasoned batsman in ODI squad against England.
But Pakistan team management is still reluctant to take Younis in, as they belief it will effect on team combination.
While talking to media Shahryar Khan said that he has requested Misbah to reconsider his retirement plan and lead Pakistan team in 2016 tour of England.
PCB head said i have requested Pakistani skipper to play one more year for Pakistan. It is to be kept in mind that Misbah ul Haq is thinking about retiring from Interantional Test cricket, he already has been retired from One Day International Cricket (ODI) and T20s.
It is pertinent to mention here that Misbah ul Haq is the most successful captain of Pakistan cricket and has named many record for Pakistan cricket.
