ISLAMABAD: At least 103 people were killed, morethan 700 were in recent earthquake in Pakistan, TheNewsTribe.com reported. 

According to initial reports, at least 73 people were killed in recent earthquake. Media reports also revealed that more than 500 people got injured.

Most of the injuries were reported from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Gigit Baltistan, Shangla and Swat were badly hit by deadly earthquake.

Rescue teams started the rescue operations in KP and emergency was imposed in the hospitals of Islamabad and KP.

The quake was 196 km deep and centred 82 km southeast of Feyzabad in a remote area of Afghanistan in the Hindu Kush mountain range. Strong temors were also felt in Kabul and New Delhi.
