Earlier, London Metropolitan police granted an extension in the bail for Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) supremo Altaf Hussain until October in the ongoing money laundering investigation; local media reported.
Local media reported that London police has decided to extend the bail of four suspects in the case – MQM chief Hussain, senior party leader Mohammad Anwar, and suspects Tariq Mir and Sarfraz Merchant – until a date in October.
Altaf Hussain’s bail was expiring until July 15 and he was expected to appear before the Southwerk police station.
Reports claim that police had dispatched the bail letter, which does not have any changes and includes the same bail conditions as earlier.
