LAHORE: Election of Commission of Pakistan has decided to deploy Army and Rangers inside & outside the polling stations in Punjab by-elections, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
The decision was taken after Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), one of the two strong political parties in NA-122 constituency, demanded Army’s deployment during election.
ECP has said that Army and Rangers will have First Class magistrate powers during Punjab by-polls.
