Sarfraz Ahmed ignored by PCB

LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ignored key performer young cricketers Anwar Ali and Sarfraz Ahmed as they put two players in ‘B’ and ‘C’ category. 

PCB announced the fresh central contract for Pakistan cricketer in which vice-captain of Pakistan t2o team Sarfraz Ahmed was failed make his spot in ‘A’ category.

Anwar Ali, who played key role in win against Sri Lanka tour failed to get ‘A’ and ‘B’ category. PCB ignored once again performances of Sarfraz Ahmed who helped Pakistan team on several crucial occasions.

B Category includes Ahemd Shahzada, Saeed Ajmal, Asad Shafiq, Rahat Ali, Junaid Khan, Sarfraz Ahmed, Yasir Shah and Wahab Riyaz.

PCB has put Mohammed Irfan, Fawad Alam, Mohammed Rizwan, Haris Sohail, Anwer Ali, Shan Masood, Umer Akmal in C-category.

While, PCB has also announced D-category contracts for Sohaib Maqsood, Umer Amin, Babar Azam and Zulfiqar Babar.

It is pertinent to mention here that pace bowler Umar Gul has been ignored in central contract while off-spinner Saeed Ajmal succeeded to make place in central contract which is a sign that PCB is still considering him for upcoming series.
