LAHORE: Election Tribunal has finally announced its verdict over NA-122 comprising of 100 pages, terming NA-122 election null and void, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
In a massive upset for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), Election Tribunal has disqualified Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq as member national assembly.
According to details, the decision was delayed for several hours as writing of the decision took longer than usual but finally the decision was against Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader.
Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan had earlier said that he would accept the decision and no protests will be held even if the decision is against the party but the decision vindicated his stance.
The tribunal also overruled the PP-147 result and re-polling will be held on both the seats now within next 60 days.
