Whenever I felt myself a burden for team, will retire- Shahid Afridi

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Twenty 20 captain and legendary all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi has said that he will retire from cricket whenever he felt himself a burden for the team.

Afridi in a clear-cut tone stated that he will not take a minute to leave if he felt himself a burden for the national team.

He said he is busy in preparing a strong side for T20 World Cup in India. Without senior players’ performances, we cannot win titles, he said.

“If my performance and fitness will not be up to mark after T20 World Cup, I will announce retirement.”
