ISLAMABAD – Performance of Pakistan’s intelligence of agencies discussed in the Senate on Wednesday.
Senator Farhatullah Babar burst on government for not banning the Jammatud Dawa (JuD). He also blamed intelligence agencies for backing banned outfits.
Babar said alleged that Pakistan’s intelligence agencies are supporting the some militant outfits. He also told that banned outfits are receiving funds in the name of charity.
“Are these so-called charities allowed to function to serve as pressure groups on the elected government and parliament or are they meant to advance some security and foreign policy goals through non-state actors?” he asked.
Senator said government admitted that Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) is a wing of banned outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) but government has failed to ban the Jamaatud Dawa (JuD).
