GALLE – India team started again their inning on second day of Galle Test with another big inning from skipper Virat Kohli.
Indian spinners created trouble for Sri Lankan bowlers and get rid of Lankan batsmen on the very first day of opening Test match of three-match series.
Sri Lankan team all out for 183 runs in their first inning of Galle Test. Skipper of Mathews scored 64 runs and remain top scorer for his side.
Chandimal also showed some resistance to Indian bowlers and played the inning of 59 runs. Ashwin’s deadly spell destroyed the deference walls of Lankan batsmen.
He took six wickets in the first inning. Ishant Sharma and Varun Aaron took 1, 1 wicket respectively.
