Pakistan Inaugurates online CNIC renewal system

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has inaugurated online Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) renewal system on Monday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Pakistan interior minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan while talking to the media at National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) headquarter in Islamabad, said that the organisation is performing its duties as per law.

Nisar also said that NADRA has been turned into a profitable organization.

“Performance is satisfactory,” has said “NADRA has earned a profit of Rs.5billion this year.”

Pakistan Minister said the efforts being made for the transparency, thousands of fake ID cards are being canceled.

He said technology being upgraded to facilitate public as NADRA ready to establish DNA lab within 6months.

Nisar also announced the incentive of Rs.15,000 for the organisation’s employees who played vital role to end back-lock.
