COLOMBO: Triumphant Pakistan has cemented its place in ICC Champions Trophy 2017 as it beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the fourth One day International of five-match series against Sri Lanka on Wednesday at Colombo.

The emphatic seven-wicket victory has earned Pakistan two valuable points to push it up on 8th place in ICC ODI rankings with 90 points, leaving behind West Indies on 9th spot with 88 points.

If Pakistan wins its final game on Sunday, it will end with 92 points.
