Pakistan vs Sri Lanka: Pakistan near to grab another win

COLOMBO – Pakistan bowlers put Sri Lankan batsmen in trouble as seven batsmen of host team back to pavilion on the score 130 runs in third One Day International match of the five match series on Sunday at Colombo.

Fast bowler Anwer Ali and Yasir Shah took two wickets each. Imad Wasim who made his debut in ODI also sent one batsmen back to pavilion.

Thirimane played a good knock and showed some resistance to Pakistan bowlers and Rahat Ali gave Pakistan back through.

Dilshan caught out after scoring just 14 runs. Pakistani bowlers made total of 316 runs more difficult for Sri Lankan team.

Pakistan team put handsome total on the board courtesy Sarfraz Ahmed’s classic knock.

Batting first Pakistan team scored 316 runs in limited 50 overs with the lost of four wickets. Sarfraz Ahmed played a great inning 77 runs in just 74 balls.

Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Rizwan also played valuable inning. Shoaib Malik scored 38 runs and Rizwan scored 35 runs in 22 balls and remain unbeaten.

Pathirana and Malinga took one wicket each.
