COLOMBO – Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in the third One Day International Match of Five match series at Colombo on July 19.
Pakistan need to win the series at least with the margin of 4-1. Now after the defeat in the second match, third ODI match of the series become more important for Pakistan team.
If Pakistan team failed to win the series then it will be more difficult for Pakistan team to get the ticket of ICC Champions trophy 2017. Although Pakistan Cricket board arranged the Tri-angular series ahead of this series to make a way for Pakistan team for mega event of ICC.
Pakistan team needs to improve the ODI rankings to surpassed West Indies team and get the ticket of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 because Bangladesh team made their place in ICC Champions Trophy after back to back great performance in ODI series.
Bangal tigers first white washed Pakistan team just after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and then beat the India by 2-1 in three match series. On Wednesday Bangladesh team showed the cricket world some great cricket skills and beat South Africa in third ODI match of the series and grabbed another series.
Pakistan team showed some brilliant performance in field specially young blood Rizwan, Yasir Shah and Anwer Ali. The rare moment comes when the commentator praised the fielding of Pakistan and said that : The difference between two teams is fielding.”
